Welcome to our home...

...for the next 6½ days: Carriage 9, Compartment V on Train 4 from Moscow to Beijing

seat opposite beds, door leads to washroom
basin with socalled shower
really an extendable lukewarm trickle tap
my heavenly bed
the samowar for making tea

Busy day today: From 9 am to 8pm we looked at birches outside the window.

In between we met our fabulously nice compartment neighbours

Yen and Yang from next door

And put on our warm (all) clothes to get out in Kirov for a 15 min stop.
